Services
How can I help you get sorted?
Do you have an area in your home, garden or small business you’re just not getting to?
Are you moving, downsizing - or have moved and just have too much?
Have you lost someone close to you, and are left to manage their possessions and estate?
Here are some of the services I offer:
My Services
-
Is there a room or defined space you need sorted from top to bottom?
Favourites amongst clients are kitchens and pantries, sheds, garages, play and hobby rooms and home offices. Even cellars and those dreaded attics.
I’ll help you with a system to go through and sort, declutter and organise these spaces.

Working through all your clothes, linens and textiles in your home, I’ll support you to make decisions and to curate the wardrobe you’ve always wanted.
A 3 hour session is a great starting point for this kind of project.
I do enjoy and follow a Konmari (Marie Kondo) method of sorting shoes, clothing and linens. But also use other methods depending on your personality.
This service also includes helping you define a shopping list of missing elements and introducing you to the services of a professional stylist if this is something you’d like to explore.

Ideally before you move, but sometimes by necessity it’s after… moving is a perfect time to assess, sort and organise what you want for the next home or stage of life.
I can help that move make all the difference in manifesting your dream life.
I have great personal experience with downsizing and international moves having personally gone through a journey from a 5 bedroom home with pool and double garage in Africa, to a 3 bed townhouse and garage in Australia and now to a charming 2 bed property with no garage in London.

Going through the accumulation of life possessions of a family member can be overwhelming, especially whilst also dealing with grief.
I will work with care and kindness with you through what can be the most difficult times to assess and sort through the possessions of others.
-
This service includes going through all the paperwork and books in your home or small business, and creating organising systems to file and manage books, paperwork and post that suits you.
I also support with digital decluttering of computers and hard drives and setting up a cloud based filing system for your documents and memories.
This service could also include a gap analysis of the elements you maybe need to have in paperwork or your library - a ‘crisis envelope’ and a will for example.

I am a keen gardener and lover of outside spaces. Sheds, patios, roof terraces and potted and kitchen gardens, window boxes and conventional small gardens are all spaces I can help you with.
My services here are the same for an inside room where I can support you to clear out, sort and organise your outside areas .

Perhaps one of the hardest categories to sort through, I’ll help you find those photos that tell your story, and support you to declutter those that don’t. This takes time - so I recommend a few sessions for most clients.
-
Let me help you discover, buy or build the storage solutions you need. Adding in shelving, hooks, cupboards and containers - with or without labelling - can be life changing in your space. We can add this service onto any of the services above.
-
Let me start by saying I’m not a professional interior designer - but many years in the creative industry have given me a good sense of design and aesthetics whether you are a modern minimalist or an eclectic maximalist.
I can help you with colour palettes, furniture placement, the use of your possessions as decor and positive flow (Feng Shui) in your home.

Our homes and spaces are a reflection of our lives. As I work with clients, we sometimes move into life coaching services.
I use models and techniques to help you transition and manifest (with your space) into a better life state.
These sessions happen as we get to know each other as a stage two service and involve considering your life goals and sorting out a plan to realise them.
A typical session.
It begins with a call. Let’s chat. Make sure I’m the right person to help you in your home - your most important space. Tell me a bit about your situation and what you are hoping to achieve. The chat is completely free and with no obligation. I can do this as a video call or in person.
If you’re ready to take the first step - book your session and we can make some initial progress. Ideally set aside a day, but a half day is also enough time to make good progress. You don’t need to be present the whole time. I am happy to carry on with the sort and will call you in at various stages to make decisions. If you’d like to be involved throughout, that’s perfect too.
What to expect:
Set-up: 5-10 minutes to agree on the tasks for the session, where the decluttered items will go, and what you would like to achieve for the day.
The sort: The process generally starts with gathering up all the elements for the sort into one area (a staging area). We take everything out - creating more mess initially! I then go through all the items and sort them into categories, discarding obvious rubbish (nothing will be thrown away without your approval) and organising along the way.
Decision making: I will help you make decisions about your categorised items with questions and prompts. I may use tools like the “3 second rule” and also help you through decision fatigue. Clutter is really just the manifestation of delayed decisions so this is often the most intense element of the session.
Organising: After decluttering, I’ll work with you to pack things away in a neat and intuitive way for your lifestyle - labelling and organising your possessions in a functional, accessible and aesthetic manner. I can also help finding and purchasing some organisational storage options if needed.
This step may include creating ‘project’ areas for possessions you need to do more work on or need more time to make decisions about.
Removal: Taking decluttered elements out of your space quickly and easily is vital - recycling to your bin area, donations to your car boot or at the front door to deal with within a couple of days. I can also arrange donation collections or take some myself if I am able to bring my car.
Next steps: We use the last 10 minutes of the session to make sure the staging space is cleared up and not left in an overwhelming state for you to live with. We can also chat about the next session (if needed) and tasks you could carry on with in-between our sessions as ‘homework’.
