My story.
I am an empathetic Professional Organiser supporting people to live lighter day-to-day lives.
With over 30 years of hands-on experience in organising homes, businesses, and estates—through personal life transitions, relocations, bereavement, and downsizing—I bring a deep understanding of both the practical and emotional aspects of decluttering and simplifying.
My mission is to help others create space for a more mindful, intentional and happy life.
My experience includes:
CLEARING CHRONIC CLUTTER: Different from hoarding, chronic clutter is accumulated possessions, usually over years, which has reached a state of overwhelm in your home or business. This may include packed rooms, storage lockers, sheds, attics and cupboards - full of things you need to tackle and declutter but need help. I have helped clients work through spaces one at a time, following a step by step method, most importantly booking and ensuring decluttered items leave the space to be donated or recycled.

GRIEF & TRAUMA CLUTTER: Losing and managing the estate of a close friend, and then also navigating the sudden loss of my husband in the past decade has provided me with first hand understanding of how grief can really trigger clutter accumulation. I was solely responsible for managing and distributing the estates involving full property clearance, art and book inventory, and communication with beneficiaries. I am a great advocate for the benefits of ‘Swedish Death Cleaning’ and can help with end-of-life organisation for those facing terminal illness and want to address possessions.
MOVING, DOWNSIZING & RELOCATION: In the past five years I have managed two international moves between Africa, Australia and the UK reducing my own possessions by 70%. I have also assisted ageing parents, facilitating conversations on what to keep and why, making space plans to visualise what furniture and possessions will fit in a new space, and supporting emotional decision-making. In the months before and weeks after a move, I help clients set up and realise their visions for their new spaces and chapters in life. My favourite sorts are moving in days.
PAPERWORK, PHOTOS & KEEPSAKES: For over 20 years I ran a successful marketing consultancy, and developed efficient administrative systems for a home-based business, including digital filing, life document management and household records. I now provide this service for my clients, and it is genuinely something I enjoy doing! I also provide photo organising services with the support of specialists in this field.
SPACE PLANNING, DESIGN AND DECOR: I have designed and decorated a number of rooms and complete homes, including gardens over my career. I found that great storage design is a natural by-product of organising spaces and can help you create the visual space you want after organising - enhancing the flow and feeling of space, but still surrounded by all you love.
